1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using TechQuest Montreal's services, including our high-tech quest room experiences, website, and related facilities, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TechQuest Montreal. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services or access our facilities.
2. Service Description
TechQuest Montreal operates a premium high-tech quest room facility located at 95 Boulevard René-Lévesque Ouest, Montreal, QC H2Z 1Z9, Canada. Our services include interactive digital challenge experiences that combine storytelling, virtual reality elements, puzzle-solving activities, and team-building exercises. We provide cutting-edge entertainment through computer-based quest rooms designed for groups of 2-8 participants aged 12 and above.
3. Booking and Reservations
All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or email contact system. Reservations are subject to availability and confirmation from our staff. Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash payments. Group bookings of 6 or more participants may be eligible for special rates and must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance. Corporate and educational group discounts are available upon request with proper documentation.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled session will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your session will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows will not receive any refund. In case of technical difficulties or facility issues that prevent us from providing our services, we will offer a full refund or reschedule your session at no additional cost. Weather-related cancellations do not qualify for automatic refunds, but we will work with customers to reschedule when possible.
5. Age Requirements and Restrictions
Participants must be at least 12 years old to engage in our quest experiences. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult participant (18+ years old). All participants under 18 require a signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian. Some quest experiences may have additional age restrictions due to content complexity or physical requirements. Pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, epilepsy, or other serious medical conditions should consult with our staff before participating and may be advised against certain experiences for safety reasons.
6. Safety and Conduct
All participants must follow safety instructions provided by our staff and comply with facility rules at all times. Disruptive, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund. Participants are responsible for any damage caused to equipment or facilities due to negligent or intentional actions. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated, under the influence of substances, or poses a safety risk to themselves or others. Emergency procedures will be explained before each session, and participants must comply with all safety protocols.
7. Limitation of Liability
TechQuest Montreal, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or facilities. Participants engage in quest activities at their own risk and are responsible for any personal injuries that may occur during their visit. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific session in question. This limitation applies to all claims, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, including but not limited to quest scenarios, puzzles, storylines, software, graphics, music, and related materials used in our experiences, are the exclusive property of TechQuest Montreal or our licensed partners. Participants are prohibited from recording, photographing, or reproducing any part of our quest experiences without explicit written permission. Any unauthorized use or distribution of our intellectual property will result in legal action.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service. By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, but cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
10. Modifications to Terms
TechQuest Montreal reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically to stay informed of any changes. Significant changes affecting customer rights or obligations will be communicated via email to registered customers when possible.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada, and any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Montreal, Quebec. Any legal proceedings must be initiated within one year of the incident or claim.
